Why Church Lynk?

The idea that would become Church Lynk started in 2020 when I was doing a residency with a church's high school ministry. We had to do an end-of-residency project, so I sought to solve a problem that students actually faced: not staying connected to a church in college.

My goal was to create a resource that could connect graduating high school seniors with churches in the college towns where they would be living. I started gathering information about universities and nearby churches, but at the time the project never fully came together.

A few years later, while working as a web developer for a missions organization, the idea came back to mind. This time I realized I had the technical skills to actually build the resource I had imagined.

So I started coding and Church Lynk was born.
